Where do you find inspiration? Everywhere! Art, movies, magazines, nature, literature!
When you opened shop, what was your promise to your customers? Great service, attention to detail and a one-of-a-kind wedding.
Do you have any hidden talents? Not that I can mention…but I have been married 25 years!
What color(s) gives you the most joy? Red! Aqua, yellow and, yes, I still love pink.
What song is the soundtrack to your business day (or at least to how you feel right now)? “Blessed” by Martina McBride
What is your favorite flower? Never ask a florist their favorite flower, it’s a mood thing, changes everyday.
Do you regularly blog? And, if so, what’s your blog site? I blog three times a week at: http://bloomsbymarthaandrews.blogspot.com/
What’s your favorite local restaurant? Tres Agaves in Roseville
What’s your favorite local charity? My church
If you weren’t in the wedding industry, what would you be doing? I’d be a midwife delivering babies.
What three things are you most grateful for in life? God, my family and my great friends.

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what element would be most important to you? Not being obligated to invite people I don’t even know or care about. I would only invite the people I would want to come to my birthday — meaning, intimate and fun. Being able to really enjoy everyone would be key.
What is the best advice you can give to brides and grooms getting married today? Don’t get so caught up in planning your wedding that you forget to work on your relationship and actual marriage.
Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s brides? There are some fabulous designers in Sacramento! Try to get a few estimates to make sure you are getting the design that meets your needs.
Thanks Martha!
Editor’s note: Martha is such a good sport! She is letting us put this fun “blooper” shot of her at a photo shoot with The Memory Journalists. We love a good sense of humor!
