Welcome back to another installment of Real Weddings Magazine’s Partner Profiles!

This week, we highlight the gorgeous and talented Thais Scheideman from Love at First Click Photography. We had the pleasure of working with Thais on our first ever bridesmaid fashion photo shoot this past spring at the Sacramento Zoo (check out some of the photos below, and the full layout in our Summer/Fall 2010 issue of Real Weddings Magazine!). So professional, so efficient, incredibly talented and just one cool lady, we think Thais rocks!

Take it away Thais!

Love at First Click Photography

Specialty?  Documentary-style wedding photography and artistic portraits

When did you establish your business?  2004

What sets you apart from your competition?  Very artistic, fun and cool photography but yet with tons of experience and professionalism!!!  Plus, we speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and “ un petit peu Français.”

Where do you find inspiration?  My inspiration comes from people (I just love to capture people’s feelings!), light, music, colors, shapes, architecture, nature. Life!

When you opened shop, what was your promise to your customers?  A big smile on their faces when they see themselves in the photographs. It’s 100% satisfaction for both sides! Also the guarantee that they can have not just a photographer, but a friend with a Brazilian accent for life!

Do you have any hidden talents?  Cooking…

What color(s) gives you the most joy?  All the bright colors… They bring fun to life!

What song is the soundtrack to your business day (or at least to how you feel right now)?  Brazilian music. Always!!!  But I also LOVE rock ‘n roll, blues and a genuine TRANCE!!!

What is your favorite flower?  Tulips. They are so simple and elegant! I like gerbera daisies too. They are so fun and colorful!

Do you regularly blog? What’s your blog site?   Yes, it’s lovefirstphoto.com/blog/ and check out my new Web site:  loveatfirstclickphotography.com

Where is your favorite place to travel?   The beaches in Brazil.  Also I love Amsterdam. I have the travel bug!

What’s your favorite local restaurant?   Lucca, Crepe Escape, 33rd Bistro and Bucca di Bepo for the margueritta pizza and the photographs!

What’s your favorite local charity?  Goodwill

If you weren’t in the wedding industry, what would you be doing?  I don’t see myself doing anything else but photographing people!

What three things are you most grateful for in life?  Friends and family, especially my parents, my grandpa, my husband and my amazing daughter! For being able to work with what I love. I’m thankful for everything God is given to me. I just love my life!

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what element would be most important to you? Photography!!! The only thing is going to last. That and love!

What is the best advice you can give to brides and grooms getting married today?  For the marriage: Love is everything, but respect is important too. For the wedding day: plan in advance, make sure you communicate well with your vendors. Hire experienced professionals and PLEASE, enjoy the wedding day. Don’t forget to have fun!!!!

Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s brides?  It’s a cliché, but absolutely true: the photographs are the ones that will tell the story of your wedding day!!!  Thirty years from now, it will be the way you will show your kids how was the place, the flowers, the cake, the dress and more important: who was there.
