Here to inspire you, it’s Real Weddings Wednesdays! Today, we present Jessica & Dennis!

Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Dennis and I had an instant connection when we met for the first time. We had so much in common and enjoyed each other’s company. We knew immediately that we had found something special. Dennis proposed in Chicago at The Bean. His closest friends were waiting for us on the other side with a sign that said “Jessica Will You Marry Me?” As we walked towards the sign, I said “Omg!! Someone is getting proposed to!” As we walked closer to the sign, I realized that the “people” holding the sign were his best friends! I was very surprised and had no idea he had planned this amazing proposal! I said YES! And that is how the wedding planning began.

What was the most amazing part of your day? Walking down the aisle. There were so many people around us, but all we could focus on was each other. It felt like everything else was a blur. It was surreal and unforgettable.

What else would you like to share about your big day? Everything went so smoothly and turned out perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better team! We are extremely grateful and appreciative for everyone’s love and support.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? It’ll all be worth it in the end. It was amazing to see everything we had worked on so hard come together on the day of our wedding. If you have any cultural traditions, you should do it! We changed into our cultural wedding outfit during the reception. Our guests loved it and it added a personal touch.
