Tell us a little about you and your beloved:
We met through a mutual friend our junior/senior year of college. Ozy claims I made the first move by inviting him to do a 5K run with me. Ozy proposed in Lisbon, Portugal in the early summer of 2019. We knew we wanted a fall wedding, so we went with fall 2020, not knowing 2020 would be a wild year. The wedding plan was crazy, so many unknowns and last minute decisions but we are so glad we went through with our original date.
What was the best part of your day?
We loved how intimate our ceremony and reception were.
What else would you like to share about your big day?
COVID totally made us change our original plans; it went from being an event with 150 plus on the guest list to 30. It was seriously the most perfect day and I would not change a single thing. It was super simple but it was 100% us.
What advice would you give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now?
So much harder said than done, but just let whatever happens the day of, happen. It’ll be the most perfect day!
