So you’ve made the choice to leave your bridal look to the pros (great choice, by the way), but there are still some steps you can take to make their work truly shine and make you look and feel your best. Alexis from Halo Salon and Day Spa has quick tips on how to achieve your ideal wedding look.
- Make sure to do a trial run a few weeks before your wedding. You may have something in mind but find that you like another look more. I show my brides a few different options the day of their trial.
- Don’t wash your hair the day of your wedding or run any hot tools (curling irons or flat irons) on it. I recommend my brides to come in and get a blow out the day or two before so we can work on smoothing out any frizz or adding any needed volume.
- Make sure to wear a button down or very stretchy shirt so your hair won’t get messed up when it’s time to get your dress on.
- When looking for hairstyles, look for styles that have similar hair texture like yours. If you have fine or short hair adding extension pieces is a great option.
Follow these tips to give your hair and makeup stylists a head start on your stunning wedding day look.
