Could Rinda and Neil be any more beautiful and fully in love?! Their love for each other simply radiates through these photos — we were honored to have them as one of our real couple models in the “You Make Loving Fun” styled shoot in the current Winter/Spring 2016 issue!
So it’s time for you to get to know just a little more about them and to see even more of their gorgeous photos from our shoot! Enjoy!
RW: What made you want to model for this shoot?
Rinda (RE): Originally one of my friends suggested I enter the cover model contest, so I did. When Wendy emailed me and asked for my husband and I to participate together, it took my excitement to another level! I was happy to get a chance to experience a real photo shoot together for the first time. We knew it would be completely different than our wedding photos, and we’re very thankful for the opportunity. Neil (NE): I was approached by my wife regarding the opportunity. Not only did I feel it was important to her, but I thought it would be a unique experience that few are presented. I was excited to add the shoot to our story and to have the youth of our marriage documented in such a unique way.
RW: What was your favorite part of modeling?
RE: All of the amazing people involved that we were able to meet. We enjoyed everyone giving us guidance since we had never done anything like this before. Also, getting my makeup done on the balcony was pretty incredible. NE: Being the subject of something creative is always rewarding to me.
RW: What was your favorite part of this shoot? Did you relate to the concept?
RE: When I heard it was Stevie Nicks inspired, I thought it couldn’t be anymore perfect! We actually walked away to ‘Leather and Lace’ at our wedding once we were pronounced husband and wife. So it couldn’t get any better than that. Also, how cool was it to get all dressed up in a way that you never have? Big hair, dramatic red lips, and gorgeous dresses. Just an incredible shoot concept! NE: Working with my wife. Being involved in a photo shoot with my wife definitely “Made Loving Fun.”
RW: What was it like modeling with one another?
RE: Oh an absolute blast! Even though we didn’t quite know what we were doing, it was so nice to experience it together. To be able to look at each other and know that we were both a tab bit nervous was a feeling we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! NE: Honestly, I’m not sure I would have modeled otherwise. Being with my wife was what appealed to me most.
RW: What do you do for a living?
RE: I help people with their Health and Fitness goals. I’m a network marketing professional, and leader to teams all over the country. I’m so fortunate to have combined my passions and career early in life. I truly love what I do. NE: Hunt
RW: Tell us about your own wedding.
The couple: Our wedding was at the base of the Spanish Peaks Mountains in Colorado, at around 9500 feet elevation. We had a rustic, chic, simple and classy wedding. From hay bales and to mama’s homemade pies, it was as good as country gets. Rinda prayed for a rainbow, and sure enough while we were enjoying dinner with our guests, a rainbow appeared! Just a little divine confirmation that we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
RW: If you could offer any advice to future married couples-to-be, what would it be?
RE: Let all the little stuff go—the day is too special to be worried, stressed or overwhelmed. What’s important is the time and love that you and your spouse give to each other on that special day. Getting married was never meant to create stress in your world; it’s a beautiful thing. Let it be beautiful. NE: What she said. That’s why I married her…she’s smarter than I am.
