Robin Jolin Photography
Tell us a little about your company? I’m a photographer and I call my style Candid Beauty. Candid Beauty is my photojournalistic style. It is honest, authentic and seemingly non-posed in front of the camera yet organized and controlled behind the lens. We will do some posed pictures during the shoot but I find that the best picture comes out of emotion. Sometimes I capture that perfect picture mid laugh or at that moment right after a kiss.
When did you establish your business? 2004
What sets you apart from your competition? My main goal in using this style is making sure my clients always look natural, in the moment and at their best. Laughing and enjoying your wedding is to important. I hope that by the time we are done taking pictures your cheeks hurt.
Where do you find inspiration? Beauty
Do you regularly blog? If so, what’s your blog site? Yes, you can check out my blog at robinjolinweddings.com/blog.
What professional organizations are you a member of? WPPI
If you weren’t in the business that you are in now, what other business/profession would you have liked to have done? Nothing. I’ve been taking pictures since elementrary school and I’ve always known I would be a photographer.
If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what element(s) would be most important to you? Enjoy every part of it!
What advice would you can give to couples getting married today? Walk back down the aisle very slowly so you can say Hi to everyone and take in all the love.
Anything else you’d like to share with Real Weddings Magazine’s readers? Enjoy your wedding!
