Weddings are a lot like theater productions: There’s a lot of preparation, a lot of behind-the-scenes action, the main characters get all the attention and, if all goes well, there’s a clear beginning, middle and end. In weddings, however, it’s the end that often fizzles rather than pops.

Dee and Kris of Dee and Kris Photography say that when couples make a clear, grand exit, it makes for a fond memory and some amazing photos. “We have seen these done a lot of different way with lots of twists. The exit [or end to the wedding] is often the highlight of the entire day. From singing ‘Sweet Caroline’ in the middle of the dance with all your loved ones surrounding you, to being raised on chairs, to running out of the venue, your grand exit will be what your guests remember. Make it fun and make it you.”

While you’re planning your walk down the aisle, don’t forget to plan your finale!
