Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Anthony and I had gone through Junior High and High School together but it wasn’t until after high school, seeing each other at a get together, staying up over 24 hrs talking and laughing, that this inevitable love all started.

We had our ups and downs as every couple does, but we never gave up on each other. I think that’s what’s made us so strong. So much has changed over the 5 years of being together, we’ve grown on each other, and I fall more and more in love with him everyday. As he has always said, “we’re two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together.” Ha, ha.

July 6, 2013 he asked me to marry him.. And the craziness started there. We had found a venue a month after and had put a deposit on it, but found an even better venue later on. So a lot of the wedding planning was a huge procrastination. Two months before the wedding I had a million things to do, pick out, make, decide on.. It felt never ending. But after all the craziness, on our wedding day, it felt perfect. I kept changing my mind and going back and forth that I felt waiting till the last months before that it worked out to procrastinate because it ended up being exactly what we wanted.

What was the most amazing part of your day? Oh gosh, it was all amazing. I had dreamed about walking out from the balcony to walk down the aisle, to the love of my life since the day we got engaged.. We always talked about getting to see each other for the first time at the other end of the aisle; and that moment was everything we had thought of it as and more… The butterflies, the nerves, the love.

What else would you like to share about your big day? There was a point during the reception when I was on the dance floor, music blaring, lights going, and surrounded by all the kids. They were full of smiles and laughter and great dance moves.. It was seriously the best feeling and they still talk about it to this day.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Follow your heart and don’t let the opinions of others keep you from what you want, it’s YOUR day. (Appreciate the advice, but ultimately it’s about you and your Groom and your wants).

Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? The more I think about the big day, of course there were little flaws in the moment, but it was truly the BEST day of my life and I’d relive it just as it was day after day changing nothing.
