Yay for Friday! It's time for a cocktail!

It’s Fri-YAY! We’re excited to start this new blog series featuring signature cocktails! Hey, what better way to welcome the weekend, right?

Today’s Fri-YAY cocktail comes from our partners at Salud! Mobile Bar! It’s their Blood Orange Pisco Sour…is your mouth watering yet? We got to try this yummy concoction at our cover model shoot this past March (that we promise you’ll see more from this shoot soon), but #SpoilerAlert the amazing mixology ladies from SALUD! Mobile Bar are allowing us to share this recipe with you now! P.S. having our real bride models Christina and Natalie try the cocktails nearly sent our editor and publisher Wendy into cardiac arrest (“DON’T SPILL IT ON THE DRESSES!” )—thankfully no dresses were harmed in this shoot!

So get your cocktail glasses ready and let’s celebrate the weekend!

Blood Orange Pisco Sour

2 oz. Peruvian Pisco
1 oz. Fresh Blood Orange Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Blood Orange Slice

Preparation

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine egg white, Pisco, simple syrup, and blood orange juice.
Cover, shake vigorously for 15 seconds, and strain into cocktail glass.
Top with a few drops of bitters and garnish with blood orange slice.
