In 2020, brides are not shying away from bold fashion choices. Mae Batista of Mae Batista Photography is seeing more unique accessories than ever. Think fun hats and jackets. Yes, brides are individualizing their wedding day attire with standout pieces to make their entire look pop.

We’re not talking about British fascinators (although those are fun too), we are talking about everyday hats like white fedoras or even western hats. By including these modern pieces with timeless dresses, brides can really make a statement and accentuate a theme.

The new jacket trend is also really fun and easily personalized. We are seeing brides and their squad use denim or leather jackets for fun photo ops, or gorgeous capes and fur (faux of course) for a more sophisticated twist. Either way, a look featuring a bold accessory is a great way to show your personality.

We can see why Mae Batista brings these trends to our attention. What a fun thing to photograph!
