Jennifer and Marina met on Hinge, where a question about musical theater turned into a first date—and, eventually, a shared love of Broadway that’s taken them to sixteen shows together. Jennifer proposed first, at a SF Giants game outside Oracle Park, with both sets of parents in on the surprise. Marina proposed back weeks later at Mettler Family Vineyards, getting down on one knee at sunset by a quiet pond. On October 11, 2025, the two said “I do” at Durst Winery & Estate in Lodi, walking a split aisle between two redwoods—each escorted by a parent—before meeting in the middle and continuing up the aisle together as wives.

The couple, who planned every detail themselves with support from JPG Weddings, wanted a local winery and vendors who were true allies to the LGBTQ+ community—and it showed in every corner of the day. Table numbers doubled as a “Find Your Destination” travel map, each one styled like a Spotify Now Playing screen and scannable to a real playlist tied to the couple’s travels. A candy bar of Jelly Belly flavors nodded to the pair’s first trip together, to the Jelly Belly factory. And during their first dance, they discovered their teeth and tongues had turned green from the cake frosting—a moment that had them laughing through the whole song.

We’re thrilled to feature their love story in the Summer/Fall 2026 issue of Real Weddings.
