Desta Stenson, co-owner and designer at Something Sweet Bakery says she’s getting lots of requests for textured buttercreams and Bohemian styled cakes, calling the look, “very natural and organic.”
Stenson sees a return of “large, sophisticated yet elegant cakes with distinct pops of color.”
“A good bakery will only take as many orders as they can accomplish without sacrificing any design or flavor,” says Stenson, who recommends booking six to nine months in advance.
“Decorated sugar cookies seem to be the number one wedding favor currently,” she says.
