Figure out how much cake to order. “Always figure about 10 to 15 percent of people will not eat cake or dessert,” says Daniel Jimenez of Above & Beyond Cakes.
Often cakes are styled depending on the season’s colors or flavors. “Accent colors also tend to move with the seasons,” explains Jiminez.
