The Couple: Julie and Jim
Wedding Date: September 15, 2012

Tell us a little about you and your beloved: Jim and I dated for three years, mostly long distance, prior to getting engaged. We met when work brought Jim to Sacramento in 2009, and the stars aligned via match.com. Now, if you ask Jim how we met it would go something like this, “We met at the gym.” Always the private person he never wanted anyone to know that we met online, but the truth is out now!
From the first email to the first phone conversation to our first date, I knew that Jim was my Prince Charming. And, I knew that I was the one for Jim after getting to know him — I quickly learned that he hates to shop for clothes and then discovering that he was so excited for our first date that he bought new jeans!
What was the most amazing part of your day? Being surrounded by friends and family when I married my best friend!
