Tell us a little about your company? A vision to add a wedding venue to our 40 Acre private facility has created this very unique and eclectic location. We specialize in vintage and country weddings with an elegant flair. We are located about an hour north of Sacramento. We are dedicated to our business and our clients and always go beyond to make each experience as personalized as possible. We have a huge inventory of vintage and country décor that is available to our clients along with expert staff to make that dream wedding a reality. So your décor, or ours or the perfect collaboration of both. You will love the creativity of this expansive property. Quite a gem!!

When did you establish your business? We have owned the property for 22 years and began building the wedding portion of the business five years ago. This was a dream of my wife’s that has come to life and continues to grow and expand each year.

What sets you apart from your competition? This location is one of a kind in size and the amount of expertise and services available. We literally can handle all aspects of a wedding except the catering at extremely competitive prices and the highest quality. We are a small operation but manage a large number of events with confidence. This property is our passion and each event is a reflection of our dedication in this business.

Where do you find inspiration? We constantly travel and comb thrift and antique stores looking for vintage items from large pieces for the landscaping to the mis-matched china and decor. Many of our inspiration come from unique ideas from our brides as well. We are investing in décor year round to insure we are stocking the trendiest wedding items out there.

When you opened shop, what was your promise to your customers? When we first opened to the public we wanted to be all inclusive and be able to help the bride and groom manage all of the details of their wedding without having lots of outside vendors. We instead found that providing a high level of quality and originality to many services better suited our clients and our business model. We have promised the highest quality services and continue to improve each year.

Do you have any hidden talents? We are a creative and forwarding thinking couple and we venture in to new territory frequently, this year we will train as baristas and add an espresso café to our venue. Who would have thunk!?

What trend do you see coming for weddings this year? We recognize that not all brides that are in love with our huge rustic location also desire the vintage décor so we have a great selection of more traditional décor as well. So we are very prepared to create the perfect day for any bride that is looking for that unique location for her dream wedding.

If you were to plan your own wedding, or re-do your wedding, what elements would be most important to you? I would have loved to have had access to all of the vintage ideas that are available today for my wedding. Each wedding I do is a dream come true for me. I am totally obsessed with the vintage era.

What advice would you can give to brides and grooms getting married today? Take your time to enjoy learning about each other, find your common goals and plan your dreams together, stay close to one another, be best friends, talk about small things and big things, trust each other and be trustworthy. Be affectionate and tell each other, “I love you” often.
