Tell us a little about you and your beloved.

Tony and I met in High School, but were in different friend groups so we knew of each other but that was all. That changed when we reconnected at our mutual friends’ wedding in 2018 where I was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsmen. After sharing a drink and a dance at the wedding, we started chatting and exchanged numbers. This began our 4-year relationship, unbeknownst to me he had a plan to buy us a home that we could fix up and make our own,  get married and start our family in. Once he found the one, he invited me over on Christmas Eve for dinner, where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

What was the best part of your day?

The most amazing part of the day was walking down the aisle with my grandpa, and looking up to see my husband waiting for me.

Advice from the couple:

Some advice that I wish I had beforehand was to stop listening to others’ opinions about your day, you can’t please everyone. As long as you and your partner are in agreement no one else matters.

Anything you would have done differently?

I would try to manage my time better. Once you pick a date it seems like time just flies by, a lot of things were completed last minute that I would have loved to soak more time and attention into.
