Tell us a little about you and your beloved.
Rudy and I met three different times before becoming official. It will be ten years on December 1, 2023. I had two children from a previous marriage and we have a son together. He has been in my daughter’s life since she was four and the other was one. He proposed in 2020 at Sequoia National Park at the top of Morrow Rock. It was perfect. The planning of the wedding was very exciting and very hard since we were supposed to get married in 2021. We did, however, get married at home with our children and two great friends present on our wedding day of September 3, 2021. I also [lost] my mom on June 16, 2022 right before our wedding day.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
Saying our vows. His were funny and from the heart and mine were serious and well thought out.
What else would you like to share about your big day?
We were surrounded by the best family and friends we could have asked for. It was such a magical, special, beautiful day! We wish we could relive it. It was a long time coming!
What advice would you give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now?
Remember to have fun, don’t stress the little things and remember it’s your day and nothing more matters than enjoying your special day with your partner.
Anything you would have done differently?
Relaxed and went with the flow.
