Sacramento Wedding Inspiration: Take The Plunge {Get to Know Our Real Bride Model Danielle} from the Winter/Spring 2017 issue of Real Weddings Magazine

Last but not least, we proudly present Danielle from our “Take The Plunge” Cover Model Shoot! Danielle was excited to take part in the photo shoot, as she’s always looking for new adventures. She wished the day was never-ending, and although we had to wrap up the shoot eventually, we have some beautiful photos to look back on.

About Her

To say Danielle is a go-getter may be an understatement. This social, active, self-proclaimed shopaholic is also an extremely hard working event coordinator for six Sacramento radio stations. She does admit, however, that after all the hard work and play is over, she is perfectly content relaxing with her fiancé and Netflix.

Her Love Story

Although Danielle and Aaron went to high school together, they were anything but high school sweethearts. In fact, Danielle was not very fond of Aaron (or at least what she thought she knew of him). Fast forward six years to when they reconnected at a party and completely hit it off. Aaron asked Danielle out later that week, and although Danielle had a lot of apprehension, she agreed to the date and ended up having a blast. They officially began dating right away.

About two years later, Aaron’s mom invited Danielle’s mom, sister and Danielle to join her on a girl’s weekend. Danielle was completely oblivious to the proposal plans in the works. Danielle, who always catches on to things, was thrilled that she was genuinely surprised when they arrived to a rose pedal and tea light-lined path. The path led to the patio where Aaron was standing next to a bistro table set with champagne and roses. Aaron tried to be playful and say, “Happy Anniversary,” but Danielle could no longer be fooled. Finally, Aaron popped the champagne and the big question. The rest of the family had joined in on the trip and they enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Tahoe with a lot to celebrate.

Danielle knew Aaron was the one for the simple fact that they always seem to be on the same page, with the same values and beliefs. She never gets tired of him, and even misses him when she’s at work.

Their Wedding Day

Danielle and Aaron will wed next spring, just one day shy of the exact day he proposed. The wedding and ceremony will take place at Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin with a Spring-like, romantic-chic feel (with a little sparkle). Both Danielle and Aaron are most excited to share their love with all of their friends and family.

Why She Entered the Contest

Danielle was encouraged to enter the contest by a friend who was a finalist in the past. Danielle thought it looked like fun and decided to give it a shot! Danielle is adventurous and loves trying new things, so it seemed like a good fit.

What Her Beloved Thought About the Contest

Aaron was completely supportive. When Danielle became a finalist, he boasted, “Hell Ya! You’re gorgeous, so why wouldn’t they pick you?”

Her “Cover Model” Experience

Danielle says she wishes the day never ended. She had the best time trying on different dresses, seeing the different sets and working with the amazing team. Her favorite moment was getting to wear the dragonfly crown, which she pretended was ordained with bees as an homage to Beyoncé. Danielle may not be “Queen Bee”, but she was loved playing Queen ‘D’ for the day.
