Happy Styled Shoot Sunday, friends! We teased this one in print in our upcoming Summer/Fall 2026 issue, and we promised you more photos to swoon over—so today, we’re delivering. Grab your favorite beverage of choice (or maybe a slice of cake, because trust us, you’ll want one after this) and settle in.
This shoot is a masterclass in what happens when talented local wedding pros come together with one shared vision: color, texture, and just the right amount of whimsy. Set against the light-filled, drapery-soft backdrop of Good Morning Maxwell Livermore, the whole design came together in the dreamiest way—soft blues and lavenders mingling with punches of coral, buttery yellow, and blush pink. It’s romantic without being precious, and playful without losing an ounce of elegance.
Now, let’s talk about the cake…we have to start here because, honestly, we can’t stop looking at it. Jesuit Nugas Wedding Cakes created an absolute showstopper: a three-tier blush pink cake with a delicate ruffled edge, hand-painted and adorned with sugar florals in soft yellow and lavender—it’s equal parts elegant and whimsical. The kind of cake that makes a statement without saying a word.
The floral design by Hosting Odin brought in loose, garden-style arrangements in a palette that felt fresh and unexpected—think citrus, dusty blue, and soft greenery woven together in a way that felt organic rather than styled. Tablescapes styled with rentals from Trend Event Collections and dreamy draping from Big Day Service created a soft, ethereal backdrop that let the colors and textures really shine, while a live calligrapher from J Amores Calligraphy added a personal, handcrafted touch to the place settings.
Top it off with the real couple models, Olivia & Ryan, bringing it all to life with genuine warmth and connection in front of the camera—all captured beautifully by Maigia Yang Photojournalist
