We asked Jacqueline Banuelos, the shoot’s editorial producer, about the inspiration behind this styled shoot, and here’s what she had to say, “In the heart of San Ramon, amidst the rolling hills and towering trees, a collaborative team of talented vendors came together to create a wedding scene that seamlessly blended nature’s beauty with artistic elegance. Captured through the discerning lens of Danya Chen Photography, each photograph not only highlighted the day’s radiant moments but also showcased the meticulous attention to detail and the genuine emotions of the subjects.
The vision for this styled shoot was to intertwine natural elements with artistic nuances, drawing inspiration from classical ceiling paintings of angels and serene forest backdrops. The Ranch at Little Hills in San Ramon served as the ideal canvas for this concept, offering a harmonious blend of expansive grassy fields and intimate wooded areas. To bring this vision to life, a curated team of vendors was assembled, including two distinct florists who each contributed their unique artistry.
The bride was adorned in a sophisticated updo, complemented by bridesmaids in mismatched green dresses—one in a lively lime hue that echoed the ribbon on the bride’s bouquet. Adding a touch of whimsy, Japanese parasols were incorporated, enhancing the ensemble’s charm and cohesiveness. The tablescape was a curated blend of Roman busts, delectable charcuterie, individual table cakes, and delicate light bites, creating an ambiance of refined indulgence.
