Real Weddings Cover Model Finalist: Stephanie Lozano {Drama Queens}

Welcome back to our blog series from our cover model finalists photo shoot, “Drama Queens,” from the current Summer/Fall 2013 issue of Real Weddings Magazine.

In this installment, you get to know a little bit more about cover model finalist and cover model winner Stephanie Lozano — the minute we saw this girl’s eyes, we were taken…so magnetic and expressive! And, the fact that she’s one of the nicest and easy-going young women on the planet, just put the icing on the cake for us — she was the perfect choice to finish our trio of amazing and wonderful cover model finalists for this issue of Real Weddings Magazine.

So without further ado, we present our Real Weddings Magazine Cover Model Finalist, Stephanie Lozano!

Her love story: While working at Pyramid Alehouse, Stephanie had a crush on one of the “regulars,” but was always too shy or too nervous to strike up much of a conversation. She was scheduled to work at an off-site event, and to her surprise her restaurant crush was one of the guests. He quickly b-lined over to her, introduced himself and the two finally had their first real conversation. Turns out the “regular” had a mutual crush on the hostess and as they say, “the rest is history.”

Their wedding day: Stephanie and her fiancé, Matt, will wed this fall in Land Park, followed by a reception in McKinley Park. The rustic theme will be carried out with neutral colors and DIY décor.

What her fiancé said about the cover model contest: Matt may have been even more excited about the contest than Stephanie, although Stephanie found it hard to believe that anyone could be more excited than her.

Her Real Weddings Magazine “Cover Model” experience: Stephanie found the entire process to be extremely special. She loved filling out the application and reliving some of her and Matt’s best and earliest memories in the process. Though she was nervous on the day of the photo shoot, she quickly found herself in good hands and became very comfortable. She loved wearing unique dresses that she may not have necessarily picked for herself, and jokes that being attended to with hair and make-up all day long wasn’t too shabby either. She was surprised to find that by the end of the day, she had an entirely new outlook on what modeling is all about; it was a blast, but it sure was tiring.
