We’re back with more from “Modern Love,” our bold and beautiful styled shoot at Gladding Farms—and this time, we’re zooming all the way in. Designed by Emily Klein of Barnswallow and brought to life by a talented team of local creatives, this shoot proves that wedding inspiration doesn’t have to play it safe to feel timeless. Today, all the pretty details take center stage.
The design story started with a single, fearless choice: blue marble table linens so striking that even their designer wasn’t sure a couple would choose them. That’s exactly the challenge Emily set out to tackle, mixing modern and vintage elements with unexpected textures to create a cohesive look that respected the venue’s rustic character while feeling entirely fresh. From the tablescape to the cake, the stationery, and the signature cocktails, every detail was chosen to push past what’s expected and toward something edgier and more uniquely “them.”
