I have a confession. I’m obsessed with the Starz TV hit show Outlander. Like if it’s on, I’m ditching everything else and tuning in even if I’ve seen the episode umpteen times already (kinda like I am right now with Ted Lasso too, but that’s another tale for another time). So when Shaquarrius from Shaquarrius Calloway Events shared her Outlander-inspired styled shoot, I squealed with excitement (remember, I said we squealed a lot around here!). When we asked Shaquarrius about her inspiration for the shoot, this is what she had to say, “I thought of this concept because of my love for the TV show Outlander. I wanted to do something that was different and not widely seen in weddings today. I see Outlander as this epic love story that transcends time—being set in both the future and past. I wanted to recreate that past and give it a modern and timeless vibe as well.”
