Tell us a little about you and your beloved.
We met at work in 2014, became close friends, and in 2016 at the BottleRock festival Stevie Wonder decided to play a riff on “I Want to Hold Your Hand” asking everyone to hold hands. We couldn’t disobey one of our icons, and we’ve been together ever since. In 2021, while at a swimming hole on the Tuolumne River in Yosemite with some of our favorite people, we looked at each other and said “Should this be our engagement?”. Our planning for the wedding was always based around that special summertime Sonoma-at-dusk vibe. We pulled it off with incredible soul music, family-style seasonal gems for dinner, a gelato cart, wine from Daniella’s dad’s winery, glam and attire that made us feel like “us”, and minimal peonies-only florals to emphasize being in the stunning vineyard.
What was the best part of your day?
The energy on the dance floor was indescribable. Dancing to Vybe Society’s 10-piece band on a packed dance floor was the truest celebration.
Advice from the couple:
[Have a] vision and plan around the vibe and feeling that you’re aiming for as opposed to specifics — nothing turns out exactly how you think it will! Oh, and tailor the wedding to what you love. The non-traditional features of our day were the most special. 
Anything you would have done differently?
Find a chic layer for your wedding dress — it was unexpectedly cold and Daniella so regretted not having a statement piece to keep her from freezing!
