Tell us a little about you and your beloved.
Jared and I met at a rave in San Francisco. I had recently moved to California from Kansas. We both happened to live about 10 minutes apart in the Central Valley of CA at the time. We started dating pretty soon after that. Jared proposed May 2021 on the beautiful island of Kauai during golden hour. We knew we wanted to marry quickly and as minimally as possible. We found our wonderful and talented photographers and all pieces fell in line and we were married three months later in August of 2021.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
Our ceremony in the redwoods was really special because of how intimate it was. It was also a beautiful day so walking along Pfeiffer Beach was a dream.
What advice would you give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now?
Do whatever is special for you two! Don’t feel conformed to do things traditionally. The day is about the bride and groom, and the love two share.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance?
Different flowers!
