Tell us a little about you and your beloved.

Randy and I are high school sweethearts. We were together for 10 years prior to getting married and are truly each other’s best friends. Randy proposed on the set of Friends at Universal Studios, it was epic. Unfortunately, COVID hit and we postponed our wedding from 2020 to 2021. However, it was the best decision we made. Being able to have a ”normal wedding,” LOL — and have special moments with our friends and family was exactly what we wanted and got. We are coming up on our first year of marriage and look forward to opening a bottle of SILT wine and eating a slice of our anniversary cake while looking back on a truly spectacular day.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

There are honestly so many, but our ceremony was one of a kind and very intimate. We did a wine box ceremony and put a lot of effort into sharing our love story with our family and friends. Finally getting to say “I do” after a year of ‘don’ts’ and ‘you cant’s’ was amazing in and of itself.

What else would you like to share about your big day?

Our wedding was perfect, we would not change a thing. We both felt like the day ran smoothly and we got to enjoy everything.

What advice would you give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now?

Make a “Day Of” timeline and assign a day for point of contact. Share the timeline and the point of contact information with your bridal party and family so you don’t have to worry about anything. Everyone in my bridal party knew when and where to be and was able to handle issues that came up and keep the day on track. I literally had no idea the limo did not double back to pick up the groom until I got back from my honeymoon — LOL!

I would also highly recommend having the bride’s bouquet preserved. I sent mine to an artist on Etsy called Framed Blossoms. I now have a dried and framed floral arrangement to hang in my home. It is an amazing piece of artwork that I will have forever.
