Tell us a little about you and your beloved: John and I met through a mutual friend at a BBQ at John’s house. We talked a lot that night, but didn’t go out for about a month. Everything else is history after the first date.
John proposed in Hawaii in October 2011 on the beach. It was perfect! We started planning our wedding in February 2012 starting with the venue that we fell in love with instantly! All the planning went very smoothly because of how great our vendors were.
What was the most amazing part of your day? Every aspect. I loved seeing everyone get ready, I loved getting glammed up, all the pre-party stuff, and especially having my Dad marry us. That was very cool.
What else would you like to share about your big day? The weather couldn’t have been better…low 90’s. Amber Shoop with Shoop’s Photography did such a great job capturing all the special moments throughout the day. I am forever greatful for her and the memories I will have forever.

Any advice you’d give to our readers who are planning their weddings right now? Get all the big stuff out of the way first. I booked the venue, flowers, DJ, and photographer as quick as I could to make sure I got my date. Also, if you plan enough in advance, if will give you more time to make payments over a longer period of time. All the little things will fall into place.
Anything that you would have done differently if you were given the chance? A DO-OVER!!! Lol….it was a perfect day. I would love to experience it all over again.
