IT’S GO TIME!! We’ve proofed this baby front to back, back to front and everything in between. So now it’s time to pick the final covers, say a quick prayer to the editing gods that there are minimal errors (there’s NEVER ever a mistake proof issue of any magazine, Real Weddings included) and send the Winter/Spring 2024 issue of Real Weddings (our 31st issue!) to the printer.

Sidenote: picking covers has to be the hardest part of my job (first world problem, I know, but...). I get to work with such talented wedding pros along with delightful real couple models on each of our shoots. Every single shoot deserves a cover. Narrowing it down to just two (one for Winter and one for Spring) is excruciating – during the final selection, I pester the crap out of our RW team to get their votes.
.
It’s especially hard because I know that I’ll make two teams really happy, and my other two teams will be disappointed and wonder why they didn’t get a cover.
.
But it’s time to take a quick walk around the block to clear my brain, then pull up my big girl panties and make the final cover decisions. And then it’s go time. Then I may or may not go take a damned nap.
