Call it a Wynn Win situation. In a city where stakes are high, chances are you’ll leave either one of these Steve Wynn resorts feeling quite lucky. These neighboring properties on The Vegas Strip from the celebrated hotel mogul give you a bit more than just glitz and luxury.
Not only are they aesthetically beautiful and dripping with glamour and good taste, they come backed with amazing amenities, excellent restaurants, dazzling boutiques and exquisite hospitality.
I challenge you to find one unfriendly face amongst the staff. You need some Advil at 3 a.m.? Expect to see it at your door in minutes with a smile. That’s the Wynn/Encore experience, no matter which lobby you check into.
Recommended Resort: The Wynn and Encore Resorts. Both the Wynn and Encore offer exceptional rooms, but perhaps none offer the exclusivity of Tower Suites. With its own private registration area, lobby, bar and pool, the Tower is an elite experience from moment one. Enjoy a spacious living area and bathroom, incredible views and access to all the resorts have to offer. From the world-class spas to the high-rolling casino and every pleasure in between, there’s something for everyone here.
Check In: 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Las Vegas. 888-320-7123, wynnlasvegas.com
Check Out: The Dining. Highlights of the culinary kind include the hard-to-book, but oh so worth it, SW Steakhouse. Perched right on “The Lake,” this is your must visit romantic rendezvous for dinner and some gorgeous nighttime entertainment. Can’t get a reservation? Head next door for an equally enchanting Lakeside for fresh fish fare and a patio view of the lake to boot.
Brunch picks include the chic Society Café where the frosted flake covered French toast is out of this world. If you don’t feel like making an appearance on the casino floor, the room service is also amazing…perfect for a lazy weekend morning.
Don’t Miss: Le Reve. What can I say? It was one of the most breathtaking shows I’ve ever seen. This watery, in-the-round and in-the-air extravaganza is at once emotional and exhilarating, and always entertaining.
I can’t believe the strength, poise and energy these performers brought to the theatre…on their feet, under water and dozens of feet up in the air soaring and dangling to audible gasps. I suggest sitting towards the back of the theatre so you can take all the action in. This is a “dream” show not to be missed.
